Responsibility:

1. Vietnam BackRoads, the leading Cycle Tour Operator, specializing in bike tours,  would like to advise you that, the schedule of flight are subject to change by any airline company without prior notification due to weather conditions(Especially Vietnam Airlines). 
2. Vietnam BackRoads can not fully guanrantee that the proposed itineray can be carried out as planed. In cases of schedule changes or cancellation of flights, Vietnam Backroads will try its best to arrange a flight for boarding or arrange an alternate itinerary.
3. Once your trip have been confirmed as the prices are fixed and a 30% of your tour costs have received by Vietnam Backroads Bicycle Tours company. Then your trips will be guaranteed to depart as it's planed and must be carried out if the Vietnam has high inflation rate before the trip start.

Deposit requirement:

1. A 30% deposit of the cost of the your trip is required and it has to be transferred to the bank account of Vietnam Backroads at least 30 days prior to the departure date. The final payment will be received in Vietnam Backroads’s office in Vietnam or Cambodia upon arrival. Your booking will be confirmed after Vietnam Backroads has received a 30% deposit from you. The confirmation and agreement of booking between us must be in writing.
2. When your booking have confirmed and your deposit has been done then your tour cost will be fixed if the inflation is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time. Vietnam Backroads must be carried out as its planed.
3. Vietnam Backroads 's bank account received USD only.
4. Clients will cover all fees of money tranfer to the bank accounts of Vietnam Backroads as followings:
   
   - 2.0 % by wire money transfer
   - 2.3% by credit credit

Your information and details:

To avoid any booking complications, be sure to provide the correct  personal information, including: full name (first name, last name), date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue date and expiry date.



Cancellation: the cancellation between us must be in writing:

If the customer cancels the tour after having made a deposit, then the amount to be refunded will depend on the amount of time from cancellation to the tour's start date, as follows:

Number of Days prior to Departure	Amount of Deposit to be refunded
30 days or more	100%
20 - 29 days	70%
10 - 19 days	50%
9 days or less	0%

If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, resulting in flight cancellations or government restrictions on travel (for example due to flooding, tropical storm) then Vietnam Backroads may be forced to cancel your trip. If this cancellation happens 15 days or more prior to departure, Vietnam Backroads will refund all of the deposits. If this cancellation happens with less than 15 days to go before the scheduled departure date, then Vietnam Backroads will retain 30% of the deposit.  The amount will go to cover deposits for hotels, tranportation, and other reservations have booked in advance.

Booking Anemdments:


If you wish to transfer one trip to another trip or transfer your booking to a third party, you must to notify us in writing at least 20 days prior to departure. Transferring to a third party is subject to approval by Vietnam Backroads.  Transferring must be requested within 10 days prior to departure.

Group bike tours & tour prices:

1. Tour prices are in USD, and priced per person. All tour prices for group tours
2. Tour prices of smallest group size is 2 travelers and it's tour price is fixed as the same as group size of 5 - 12 travelers.
3. The tour prices of group size less than 5 travelers and more than 2 travelers (from 3 - 4 travelers) You will have a special offer.
4. The tour prices of group size more than 4 people and less 13 people (from 5 - 12 travelers) will be fixed as the same as a party of 2.
5. The more people to join in the more bikes, bus, van and equiment to be used. Other hands, one more bike guide and one mechanic wil be available on the whole trip.

Private bike tours and tour prices:

1. If you wish to have a private small group bike tour, such as for your family or a group of friends, this is possible.  Simply tells us the number in your group and the days you would like to travel. 
2. Depending on our booking schedule and numbers of participant, we will tell you if we can accomodate your group.  Private tours are slightly more expensive than  group tours.

Waiting for more to join:

If you wish to join a group bike tour, and do not have a group, then your reserved trip will appear on our site as WAITING FOR MORE TO JOIN waiting for more to join in in order to wait and attract other travelers to join in. Once a tour has at least 2 confirmed bookings then the status on website will change to Guaranteed to Depart and will be reflected on the GUARANTEED to DEPART

Clients’s requests:

A group is defined as 2 travelers or more.  Therefore, a group of 2 or more can choose their own departure date.

Cancellation policy of flight, train and boat:


If an International or domestic flights and domestic train, boat tickets are booked as part of the tour, then these are totally non-refundable or transferable

Travel insurance:


Vietnam BackRoads does not provide travel insurance.  We advise you to arrange your own travel insurance in advance, before the trip.

Ages of travelers as cyclists:


We welcome travelers aged 8 years and older
. You can contact us for a private trip if you love to have a private tour for your group or family

Accommodation:


1. Vietnam Backroads Bicycle Tours company reserves the right to offer alternative accommodations of similar standards in cases where the accommodation operator overbooks their property  for any reason beyond our control.

   - 3 - 4 star hotel category

2. Rooms types:
   We providing you with double room for a couple, twin rooms for travel mates and triple rooms for a family. If you wish to have a single room for your own, you have to pay more as an extra pay to  get a single room on entire trip. (single supplement)
