A day trip to Cu Chi Tunnels
ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY:
The Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Southern Vietnam war time. It is about 65km northwest of Saigon and located right the gateway to Ho Chi Minh from Tay Ninh - border province. It was a good location for both Viet Minh before 1954 and then Viet Cong until the War ended in 1975. It has three levels and longer than 250km underground with; secret entrances, hidden bunkers, underground shelters and hidden smoke kitchen and simple traps built by local materials. This excursion trip combines of speed boat and spending great time to learn more how Viet Cong built three levels of tunnels.

Explore Cu Chi tunnels
This is a day trip to Cu Chi tunnel begins with a pick you up at the dock. Enjoy 1.5 driving through charming village and rubber plantation and make a stop a local farmer's house. You will have the opportunity to learn to make rice paper which is used to prepare delicious Vietnamese rice paper rolls. We then continue going to Cu Chi Tunnels. Watch documentary film before we explore this tunnel; see secret entrance, booby traps, door traps, fighting bunkers, bomb craters, handmade weapon workshop underground……see 3 levels of tunnel before we stop at shooting range…. Lunch en route, we will stop at cricket farm of local, and taste some fried crickets wrapped in a spring roll, just eat it like a local snack during the farm visit. It’s an opportunity to experience the local doing business of cricket farm. We return to Saigon by vehicle in the afternoon.
