Biking Mekong Delta. Cycling Saigon to HaTien to Phu Quoc Island. During this trip you will have a change to visit the great monastery in Souht Vietnam. Its 3 years older than the Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon. It was from a Vietnamese Franciscan brother from the oldest extant monastery in his country, in Cu Lao Gieng, An Giang province. Cu Lao Gieng, an island in the Mekong river has long been a Catholic enclave. La Providence monastery, founded in 1875 originally by nuns of the Order of St Paul de Chartres, is a shadow of its former self. But it is still thriving. Vietnam Bike Tours

Day 1: Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho (L/D) (25 - 45 km)
We  will pick up you at your hotel in the morning and transport you for 2 1/2 hours to rural District of Tien Giang province. The cycle ride begins in rural area, where you will ried 20 km on small single track trails, and travel country roads through fruit orchards in the rural areas by the Mekong River. Stop for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, crossing river by ferry to  Dong Phu village which on An Binh Island. Continue riding on paths through this Island to the main branch of Upper River, Co Chien River. Take a public ferry to Vinh Long town where your driver and minivan standby. Have a short transfer to Can Tho in the late after afternoon.

Day 2: Can Tho - Sadec - Cao Lanh city (B/L/D) (35-70 km)
Wake up early in the morning, enjoy boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, visit the fish market and many houses on stilts along the river banks. You will have the opportunity to watch the largest and busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta. Back to hotel for breakfast and leave for Sadec town. Have a short transfer to countryside of CanTho city and start biking to Sedec, pedal through sweet potato plantations and many small manmade canals. Visit the old Sadec town and the Huynh Thuy Le's house which is well-know as the movie "The Lover". Your lunch will be served in this house before you continue cycling through a huge flower garden and brick factories and crossing Mekong River to Cao Lanh city. Overnight in town.

Day 3: Cao Lanh - Chau Doc (B/L/D) (50-80 km)
Begin your bike ride today with exploring beautiful landscape along the country roads of Upper Mekong River (Tien Giang River). Enjoy  fun on  a little ferry to the Island and  pedaling to the Monastery, which was built 120 years ago by the French. This is the first Monastery building site in Indochina, established in 1874. Spending 30 minutes to walk  around admire the colonial building style in the area, get back to your bike and continue explore the untouched places all the way to Chau Doc border town.

Day 4: Chau Doc to HaTien (B/L/) (50 - 90 km)
Enjoy a rowing boat to floating village and pay a visit to the islam of Cham village before riding on trails to Ba Chu killing field. It  was a small village  but a little town today. There were more than three thousand people were killed right  here in 1978. Have lunch before you continue biking on  quite back road along Cambodia border to Ha Tien.

Day 5: Ha Tien - Phu Quoc Island (B/)
Have a breakfast at your hotel and free to explore the town by your own until taking  1:30 pm high speed boat to Phu Quoc Island.  Tour End!
