We meander along on our bicycles throughout the Red River Delta and enter intothe countryside of Hanoi. Vietnam Back Roads will introduce you to the locals as we cycle pass rice-paddy fields along the river and we will visit the traditional Dong Ho painting village. This area stretches 15,000 square kilometers. This area is more intensely developed and populated than its neighbor, Mekong River Delta. Biking to Red River Delta
Vietnam BackRoads will offer you a full day trip to see a rice basket of North Vietnam by bicycle. Have a 20 minutes transfer to Red River, ride on rural roads along Duong River through beautiful countryside of Red Rive Delta. It is an opportunity to see cultivating activities and daily life in the morning. Continue your cycling on rural roads to Dong Ho Picture village. The locals craftsmen using the traditional điệp paper and colour derived from nature, craftsmen print Dong Ho pictures of different themes from good luck wishes, historical figures to everyday activities and folk allegories. Dong Ho pictures are always considered a symbol of traditional culture and aesthetic value of Vietnam. Then continue riding to visit Ghost Pagoda and return to Hanoi in late afternoon. Tour end!
